[WoW: When Gnomes Fly]

Don't let people discourage you.

I've always been a bit of a fan of your stuff. I fell really bad for you, honestly. People on Newgrounds try so hard to be different - to not give into conformity - that they don't give credit where credit is due. You're one of the roots of Newgrounds and your stuff is far from 'bad.'

That being said, this wasn't your best piece work, but it wasn't bad per se. It would probably be about ten times funnier to a person who plays World of Warcraft. I, for example, don't play it so it wasn't that funny to me. Your graphics are decent. They're nothing special, but decent.

Like I said in the title, don't let people discourage you. It would be nice, however, to see you do a steady series for a change.

Entertaining

The cartoon had many good jokes and decent animation. It wasn't excatly my cup of tea, but I enjoyed it none the less. I expect some extremely good submitions from you in the future as you get more experience animating and writing.

[Zombie Bus Stop]

Decent

The clay models were very nice looking, but it didn't really make me laugh. It's probably because I expected that was going to happen at the end...

This is extremely similar (a bit suspiciously in fact) to my only submition, "A Valuable Lesson," that also including a guy in a bus stop, except instead of a zombie, it was a vampire...

It's probably just coincidence, however. It was submited qiute a long time ago.

I'm a bit torn

I liked the mood that you managed to set. Setting a mood is a very hard thing to do, especialy in the little amount of time you had. It was very well layed out and the music was just about perfect. However, I had a few problems with it.

First of all, I'm not too sure you picked the right style for the cartoon. It seemed alittle too goofy. Though that was a minor problem.

The biggest problem was, at the end, it made you ask yourself, why? Why did that stuff have to happen?

Mabye it's just me, but I like to watch movies/cartoons for entertainment. I don't want to finish watching something and feel like I just got hit by a train. Usually, in downer movies, there is a little 'up' at the end. That way, you can think, "Well at least so-and-so etc...," but there is no 'at least' in this cartoon. It's just how it is.

I'm not saying it was bad, it just wasn't my cup of tea. Though I believe you should keep in mind that people watch your stuff to be entertained, not to be shot in the face.

You know what to do.

Obviously, the voices were to loud, or the music was too loud, one of the two. You can find a good free audio editing program on called "Audicity" on a download site. (search the Newgrounds BBS, they probablly have something about it) You can easily edit the volume in that program.

The animation wasn't bad, it was an interesting style that I think can be built upon, and from what I saw (becasue I couldn't understand them), it looked like it could of possibly been funny. Overall, it might have been decent if the audio was better.

Very nice

I thought it was very well put together. I liked it alot. I think the score should be higher than a 2.40, but oh well. I expect more from you in the future.

Oh, and I felt like the beginning (where the toads are knocking on the doors) was a little too long. It probablly lost the interest to alot of people right off the bat.

Great

It's nice to see a funny flash cartoon that has some sort of story line. Alot of the cartoons on Newgrounds are just drawing and a few funny jokes. But what makes a good cartoon is a cartoon with clean good humor and a nice story line. Very good job.

Very Funny

I loved it. It very clever and very funny. Though I thought the audio could be better. You need to back away from teh mic when you speak into it and/or put a sock over it or something.

Eyebrows

You held the "No, I'm the king of the Portal" out too long. I was starting to think that's all there was too the cartoon. The eyebrow thing was very funny though.

Yes, if one was familiar to my previous works, they would think that part was the end.
It was a trick loop.

It sucks that they cut it short.

It was really good. The portion they cut out was just as good, mabye even better than the part they left in. I'm glad you resubmited it so we could see the whole thing. Did they do this to any other of the TSAH cartoons?

Starwberry Clock had to change his hidden Easter Egg due to file size, and I think Joint Productions had thiers economised. The overall result is great though, and is testament to Rubberninja's animation splicing skills.
